Appable is an independent iOS studio. We build apps that work locally on your device whenever possible. We collect the minimum amount of data needed to operate and improve our products, and we never sell your personal information.

2. How we collect and use information

Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our Services, to administer your use of the Services (including your account, if you have one), and to enable you to enjoy and easily navigate our apps and website.

3. What information we collect

When you use our applications, we collect very little personally identifiable information. Specifically, we don’t collect personal data beyond your email address (only when you give it to us, e.g. for an account or a support request).

We use a third-party statistics SDK to gather non-personal diagnostic data such as:

• Your iPhone’s system version and language
• Coarse geolocation information (country/region level)
• Anonymous events about which screens are viewed and which actions are taken inside the app

We use this data to enhance and improve our applications. It cannot be used on its own to identify you, and we do not combine it with any identifier that would.

4. Cookies

On our website we may collect certain information through the use of cookies— small text files that are saved by your browser when you access our Services. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to recognise that you’ve signed in and to understand how and when you interact with our website. We may also use cookies to monitor aggregate usage and to improve our Services.

Unlike persistent cookies, session cookies are deleted when you log off and close your browser. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can change your settings to stop accepting them or to prompt you first. We work with a small number of service providers (e.g. Apple for App Store distribution, crash-reporting and analytics tools) strictly to operate our apps. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and to use it only to perform services for us.

Our website and apps may also link to third-party websites or services. Any information you provide to a third party is provided directly to that third party and is subject to its privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites — please review their terms and privacy policies before using them.

6. Data storage & security

When data leaves your device, it is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our cloud providers in encrypted form. We apply industry-standard safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you without undue delay.

7. Your rights

You can at any time:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete your data.
• Withdraw any consent you previously gave.
• Object to or restrict processing, where applicable under law.

8. Children

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it from our files as soon as possible. Minors may use our applications only with the assistance of a parent or guardian. Under no circumstances may a person under the age of 13 use our applications.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date at the top.
